How to lose 120 lbs body weight

What do you mean 40 lbs? I am 5' 8 as well and need to lose about 120 lbs. I'm diabetic and I've tried different diet regimens. The only thing I have found that works that is healthy is just to eat healthy and watch your portions. Balance is the key. If you go to Kraft foods website, Kraft.com, click the link to healthy living then onto the diabete's center tab. Even though you may not have diabetes, it doesn't matter. This will give you a menu plan and food suggestions that will balance the amount of protein, carbs and calories that your height and weight needs.
I can give you a generic plan to follow that I have followed and need to get back on myself , but it does work. Continue to exercise and drink 8, 8 oz. glasses of water a day. I actually have a 24 oz bottle that I drink so I drink 3 of those per day. Who has time to get a drink of water every hour? If that's something you can commit to doing, then do that, every hour, have a drink of water. I drink my water fast because I like it really cold and I'm too busy to remember every hour so the bigger bottle less often works for me.

If you want me help you with a meal plan, I can do that for you. I'm not a nutritionist, but I've been too several of them and have been diabetic for 10 years and have taken nutritional classes so I'm pretty knowledgeable. You can tell me what kinds of foods you like. Healthy and even junk foods. What time of day is the most difficult for you. I can give you a simple plan to follow. You will see results within the first week if you follow it closely. But it's not a diet, it's just a matter of boosting your metabolism by eating more frequently the right food and the right amount of food. The water flushes out the water weight initially and rehydrates your body so that nutrients can move through your blood faster.

Hope this helps,

How lowering cholesterol destroys your health

Prior to turning 50 I actively worked to reduce my cholesterol levels by reducing my animal fat intake and generally following a modern "Heart Healthy" diet as promoted by medical authorities including the Heart Foundation.

In hindsight, this was a bad move: My cholesterol levels continued to rise, I started having to get up in the middle of the night to pee, my running became laboured and painful and I was increasingly depressed about my work! I suffered cold hands and feet even in summer. Most disturbing of all; I was getting skin cancers all over the place.

Hi, I'm so new at this. I am trying the new Special K diet challenge and all I have been eatting was the meal and snack bars. I haven't been able to find the other stuff that I wanted to eat from Target and I couldn't find any coupons. Any suggestions? Should I be eatting anything else as well? Thanks.

Which I think is harsh ..... but perhaps a little true!

Whilst discussing the small victories of slimming and the frequent agonies of temptation - I happened to mention to a fellow slimming friend that - oddly, I was beginning to enjoy those moments of temptation and the angst of "should I/shouldn't I" - because I am getting so good at 'being strong' .... leaving that chocolate bar where it sits crying out to me! Indulging instead in a small smile of satisfaction - instead of the satisfaction of a sugar hit - when I turn my back on that forbidden goody and mentally chalk one up to me!

Hey - I have fallen off the wagon a couple of times - and that does NOT feel so good. Whilst biting into that old familiar friend perhaps there is that delicious memory of abandonment to the ways that got me to this point - but it is so short a high!

But the times that I have snubbed the invitation to have a secret liason with my ex-love .... wow! Do I feel proud of my new found faithfulness!

So - perverse or just pleased?

Maybe a little of both!

I don't know why, but ever since I started this diet I'm starved most of the time.
Before I started this, I rarely ate between meals - I just ate too much at dinner,
or I'd eat the wrong things - like french fries or fried zucchini and cauliflower
or mashed potatoes and gravy. But, I never had hunger pangs. It feels like
the cereal bars are making me hungry. I can't believe how much I've been
eating lately and wonder if any one out there has the same problem. I can
eat 6 of those cereal bars at once - they;re like eating air. Any help out there?

Hi, Try to eat the chocalate special K cereal with fat free milk either for lunch or 3 hours before dinner. Eating before bed is a bad idea. You need to eat and move around before going to bed.Your body needs digest upright and not layed down. The choc. cereal will def. take care of your sweet tooth. Its healthy and theirs peices of real choc. in it.

Hi, I am a female, but this diet is for anyone who would like to lose weight easy and fast!

My secret is, I buy both strawberry cereal, and the chocalate cereal. I choose one of them for breakfast and I eat the other one for lunch. Then I eat a regular meal for dinner. You see results for the first time on your scale on the third day. For dinner I eat either fish, chicken. No Porn,No bread.. eAT LOTS OF VEGGIES, AND NO CREAMY DRESSINGS. I eat my cereals with fat free milk. It tasts odd at first but you'll get used to it, Now thats All I'll ever have with cereal. Whole milk has extra callories you dont need. I have been on this special K diet for 3 weeks.I lost 7 pounds, and it showed on my tummy, and legs. Hope this helps you to make a chioce. And feel healthy...

bernadette

I have just started receiving the messages from the web site ... and have now got about 75 to read !

They do make for interesting reading though - lots of people with the same sort of issues.

I obviously should not have said a word about the weather because not God has turned the sun on us

BIG TIME and we all just lie around complaining that this is NOT natural for Scotland and that we never

thought we would see the effects of Global Warming in our lifetime!

However ..... at least now we can use swimming pools - that is if I dare to get my swimsuit out of the box under

the bed where it has sulked for the last two years ... sulked because of the indignity I put it through the last time

I squeezed into it and put it and myself on show to the public!!!! lol

Love to hear your story

thanks for replying to my heartfelt plea!
